Along with the regular implementation of emulation movements, Party committees and authorities at all levels have constantly innovated content and forms, focusing on launching special emulation campaigns, thematic emulation movements, and peaks to celebrate major national holidays and important political events of the province.

Stick to political tasks

To concretize the goals and tasks stated in the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the annual socio -economic development targets, Party committees and authorities at all levels have launched many practical thematic emulation movements, closely linked to the practical situation.

In order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the government apparatus, creating maximum convenience for people and businesses, in the period of 2020 - 2025, the Provincial People's Committee has launched 6 emulation movements on administrative reform and digital transformation. Typical is the 100-day peak emulation period to promote the implementation of administrative procedures in the electronic environment and digitize records and results of administrative procedure settlement. Through the implementation of the movement, the rate of digitizing the results of settlement of valid administrative procedures at all levels has been significantly improved, the rate of receiving and processing online records reached over 90%, the movement has saved the provincial budget nearly 30 billion VND.

Ms. Dao Thi Thanh Thuy, residing on Le Dai Hanh Street, Dong Kinh Ward, said: When performing tax registration procedures for the first time, instead of having to go to the Provincial Public Administration Service Center, I just need to go to the provincial administrative procedure information system to perform. The system has integrated online public services, available forms and detailed instructions on how to declare, I just need to download, fill in and click submit. This creates a lot of initiative for people instead of having to spend time and effort traveling to do procedures like before.

At the same time, party organizations, agencies and units actively implemented emulation movements to achieve achievements in celebration of major events of the country and the province, contributing to the completion of political tasks of agencies, units and localities. According to statistics, through these movements, over 400 practical works and tasks have been deployed and completed, with a total value of over 30 billion VND.

From 2020 to now, the province has implemented many thematic emulation movements, which are breakthroughs and have achieved positive results. Such as the emulation movement "Building a road to check landmarks and protect the border of Lang Son province"; "Promoting site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital"; "Competing to complete the construction and approval of job position projects in public service units in Lang Son province"...

Through movements contributing to the successful implementation of political tasks, arousing patriotism, the will to rise up, solidarity and creativity among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, creating a vibrant, practical and effective competitive atmosphere in all fields.

Creating development momentum

By launching and organizing specialized emulation movements, Lang Son province has mobilized the strength of the entire political system for socio-economic development. These are not just short-term movements but gradually become long-term driving forces, arousing the will of self-reliance and dedication in all classes of people.

After 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, with the solidarity and determination of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the efforts of the entire political system, the consensus and active participation of the people and the business community, Lang Son province has achieved many important results. Out of 20 main targets, 18 targets have been achieved and exceeded.

The province's socio-economy continues to develop, maintaining rapid and sustainable growth momentum, and the economic structure is shifting in the right direction. The growth rate of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the 2021 - 2025 period is estimated at 7.1; the total import-export turnover of all types of goods through the province's border gates in the 2021 - 2025 period is 198 billion USD. Huu Nghi International Border Gate was chosen as the first border gate in the country to pilot the construction of a smart border gate.

At the same time, social security is increasingly guaranteed, the material and spiritual life of the people is improved. The whole province has 317 schools meeting national standards, accounting for 48.9%, an increase of 15.4% compared to 2020. The average annual poverty rate decreases by 2.95%, it is estimated that by the end of 2025, the whole province will have 1.36% of poor households. National defense and security are strengthened, politics is stable, social order and safety are ensured, and national border sovereignty is maintained.

The achievements in all areas of socio-economic development of the province in the past 5 years have had the positive contribution of patriotic emulation movements. Many agencies and units have had many good, creative, practical and effective ways of doing things, mobilizing many social resources and people to build the homeland and the country, creating a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere.

Through emulation movements in general and thematic in particular, many individuals, groups, and advanced models have been recognized and rewarded. From 2021 to now, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has awarded emulation titles and forms of commendation to 11,245 groups and individuals (including 4,691 groups; 6,554 individuals and families). This contributes to encouraging, spreading and creating stronger motivation in implementing emulation movements.

It can be affirmed that the emulation movements with breakthrough characteristics in the province in recent times have been implemented methodically, effectively and really in-depth, achieving positive results. In the coming time, Party committees and authorities at all levels will continue to innovate the content and form of emulation, discover and replicate advanced models and typical examples, create a vibrant and practical emulation atmosphere, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set out in the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.
