In the warehouse, repair station, yard or at the weapon storage locations, the sound of machines, the sound of metal tapping, the sound of work instructions resounded evenly. Rays of sunlight penetrated through the corrugated iron roof, in the quiet space of the warehouse, on each face of the cadres and technical staff still shone a look of high concentration, along with pride and responsibility for the work they were undertaking.

Major Bui Duy An, warehouse keeper of Warehouse Division 44, shared: “As warehouse soldiers, our work is closely linked to equipment and technical supplies in harsh, arduous working environments. Maintaining strict discipline, maintaining a regular routine, and constantly improving preservation and maintenance methods are key factors that help us ensure good technical condition of equipment.”

With the motto "easy to see, easy to get, easy to find, easy to check", in recent times, the Party Committee and the command of Warehouse K76 have focused on leading and directing agencies and units to effectively implement the task of arranging, consolidating, and planning the system of warehouses and workshops in a scientific manner, following the correct technological process. Up to now, most of the materials, goods and facilities at the unit have been managed using modern 3D technology, contributing to improving the quality of preservation, maintenance and technical assurance.

Present to inspect and monitor the import and export of materials and goods, Major Dang Huu Cuong, Head of Warehouse 44, shared: “As a unit specializing in receiving, distributing, preserving, and maintaining materials for the motorcycle, armored vehicle, weapon, and labor protection industries, we always focus on promoting the application of information technology in management. Using computerized material management software helps the unit grasp the quantity, type, product code, and arrangement location in each warehouse. Thanks to that, the process of exporting and importing materials takes place quickly, accurately, and safely.”

In harsh climatic and working conditions, the warehouse is located far from the center, the technical equipment (TBKT) is diverse in types, many of which are expired; the warehouse's technical infrastructure system is degraded, the transportation, repair and maintenance of TBKT are difficult. However, with the spirit of solidarity, innovation and flexibility, the Party Committee and the command of Warehouse K76 have proactively built annual, quarterly and monthly leadership resolutions that are close to the characteristics and tasks of the unit. In leadership work, the Party Committee always clearly identifies the motto: "Comprehensive leadership, with focus and key points", taking the task of ensuring good TBKT for combat readiness and training as the center.

Directing the promotion and effective implementation of the Campaign "Management, exploitation of weapons, equipment, good technology, durability, safety, economy and traffic safety" and Resolution No. 1656-NQ/QUTW on leading technical work until 2030 and the following years associated with the emulation movement of the unit, each department, each officer and employee of the Warehouse has concretized by specific actions, focusing intelligence and creativity on researching initiatives and technical improvements. Thanks to that, in the past 5 years, the unit has had 26 initiatives recognized, of which many typical initiatives have been effectively applied in the unit such as: "Equipment for lifting and transporting weapons" won the encouragement prize at the Ministry of National Defense level; "Equipment for transporting pillars" achieved type C at the Military Region level...

These initiatives not only help save time and human resources but also ensure absolute safety during operation, improve labor productivity and work quality. Every year, 118% to 120% of professional task targets are completed; organizing the distribution and receipt of tens of tons of ammunition; thousands of infantry guns; regularly preserving and maintaining thousands of guns, artillery, and optical equipment of all kinds; absolutely safe handling of level 5 ammunition and illegal ammunition; the unit does not allow fires, explosions, or technical insecurity to occur. Along with that, the unit actively implements the upgrading and consolidation of the warehouse system, meeting the requirements for storing and preserving technical equipment and materials; the system of arrangement diagrams, boards, and regular signs is carried out seriously, strictly, and scientifically. Up to now, 24/24 warehouses are qualified to be built according to 5 contents, model warehouses.

Discussing the leadership and direction work at the unit, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Dinh Thi, Party Committee Secretary - Political Commissar of Warehouse K76 emphasized: “To successfully complete political tasks, first of all, we must build high solidarity and unity within the Party Committee, between the Party Committee and the commander and mass organizations. This is the decisive factor that creates the strength of solidarity and consensus in the entire unit. In leadership and direction, we always adhere to the goals, uphold the principles of organizing Party activities, but at the same time constantly innovate thinking and operating methods to suit the practical tasks and specific conditions of the technical warehouse”.

With the correct, creative, practical leadership and the spirit of solidarity to overcome difficulties of the officers and soldiers, over the years, Warehouse K76 has been awarded many noble awards: In 2020, the President awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces; in 2022, it was awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal; in 2020, 2023, 2024, it was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region. Those achievements are not only a source of pride but also a motivational foundation for officers and employees of Warehouse K76 to continue to achieve many new achievements, contributing to building a clean and strong Party organization; a strong unit in all aspects, ensuring good technical work for the tasks of the Military Region's Armed Forces.
