Introduction: Cham folk dance has a water carrying dance, also known as Tamia dwa buk, where girls carry on their heads a ceramic pot or a fruit tray or a set of terracotta teacups. The ceramic pot contains water or the tray has a teacup, usually containing green tea to offer to the gods or to invite distinguished guests. This dance has become a typical ritual of the Cham people in welcoming distinguished guests.
