Binh Duong Taekwondo succeeds thanks to going in the right direction

Since the establishment of the Binh Duong Taekwondo Federation at the end of 2021, the Binh Duong Taekwondo team has had many positive changes. In particular, the achievement of winning 2nd place overall at the 2023 National Taekwondo Championship is the most outstanding mark of the martial art considered a strength of Binh Duong sports at national and international tournaments.

Binh Duong Taekwondo team has just achieved an impressive second place overall at the 2023 National Taekwondo Championship.

For the first time in history, Binh Duong Taekwondo athletes competed impressively, surpassing two strong teams, the Army and Hanoi, to win second place overall at the tournament. Of which, the three gold medals of Phan Truong Vinh (51kg), Dinh Cong Khoa (58kg) and Vo Minh Man (68kg) in the men's individual competition were the decisive factor helping the home team win an impressive second place overall. Binh Duong Taekwondo was only behind the Ho Chi Minh City Taekwondo team (9 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 4 bronze medals).

To achieve the above achievements, in addition to the training efforts of the martial artists, the dedication of the coaches, there is also a great effort of the leaders of Taekwondo in Binh Duong. Along with that, the leading role of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the harmonious coordination with the Binh Duong Taekwondo Federation have helped create positive changes for the home team. Building training points from the grassroots, creating an abundant source of successor athletes for the provincial Taekwondo team is a highlight and an important step to help the team's force always have new, young factors, ready to compete and bring achievements to the team.

In addition, another factor that greatly determines the overall performance of professional athletes is nutrition, which has also been greatly improved. Not only is the nutritional regimen improved during training, but each time the tournament comes, the athletes' food rations are adjusted in quantity and quality to help the athletes have abundant energy, ready to fight for the final victory. Along with that, after each success or failure of the home team, the team's coaches and experts sit together to analyze the weaknesses and strengths of each athlete, thereby finding the right training direction, helping them achieve good results in the next tournament.
