Driver "sells" cell phones on the highway, passenger takes photo and sends it to traffic police

From information reported by the people, the traffic police quickly verified and fined a passenger bus driver who violated traffic laws while traveling on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway.

On July 16, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Guidance Department, Traffic Police Department) said that the unit had previously received information from people via Fanpage regarding the violation of the male driver of passenger bus 60F-002.XX.

The image of the violating driver was recorded by the people.

Accordingly, this person was using his phone while driving on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway, despite the danger that could occur if he encountered an unexpected situation.

Quickly verifying the information, by the afternoon of July 15, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 worked with the driver of passenger bus 60F-002.XX., Mr. NXT (born in 1991, residing in Dong Nai ).

Through checking the data on the cockpit recording device and the video provided by the people, driver T. admitted all violations and pledged to learn from experience and not repeat the offense.

The authorities then drew up a ticket to fine driver T. for "Using a hand and using a phone while driving". For this behavior, the driver will be fined 5 million VND according to regulations.

According to Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6, the driver's behavior not only violated traffic laws but also caused negative reactions, affecting the safety of passengers and surrounding vehicles. People proactively recording and promptly reporting is an effective monitoring channel, contributing to raising awareness of law compliance when participating in traffic.
