According to Bangkok Post, Sawang Khon Kaen Rescue Team said the serious traffic accident occurred at around 11:08 p.m. on November 23 on Sri Chant Road in Muang, Thailand.
At that time, a drunk pickup truck driver ran a red light and crashed into a car and a roadside shop, injuring 12 people.

Emergency services were called to the scene and found several people injured. Several people with broken legs were taken to a nearby hospital. Two people trapped in the car were also injured and had to be freed.
Video footage of the accident shows the pickup truck driver running a red light at the intersection and crashing into the car, causing it to lose control and crash into a utility pole. The truck then crashed into people sitting outside a store.
After causing the accident, the pickup truck driver, identified as Kuekrit, 41, is believed to have fled the scene. Police arrested the driver at Muang Khon Kaen station, about 200 meters from the accident scene.
Mr. Kuekrit admitted to drinking alcohol before driving. Blood tests showed his alcohol level was far above the legal limit for driving. Authorities have opened an investigation into the incident.
