Bus driver assaulted at traffic police station

(Dan Tri) - A bus driver was assaulted by a group of people right at the Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station, Khanh Hoa province.

On March 3, a representative of Quyet Thang Nha Trang Bus Company Limited said that they had filed a report with the police about a group of strangers vandalizing property and assaulting employees of this transport company.

According to information from the representative of Quyet Thang Nha Trang bus, on the afternoon of March 2, the bus with license plate 79B-206.xx running on the Nha Trang - Van Gia route (Khanh Hoa province) was traveling on National Highway 1 when it reached Ninh Da pass (Ninh Hoa town, Khanh Hoa province) and was blocked and threatened by a young man on a motorbike.

When the bus reached Lac An market, Ninh Tho commune (Ninh Hoa town), a person continued to throw rocks at the bus, breaking the windows and causing confusion and panic among the passengers on the vehicle.

"Throwing rocks at buses is very dangerous, it not only scares passengers but also disrupts traffic safety," said a representative of Quyet Thang Nha Trang bus.

After discovering the incident, the bus driver called the company to report it. The company's leaders asked the employee to go to the nearest police station to report the incident.

Receiving a request from the company, the bus driver stopped the vehicle at Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station and reported that he was again assaulted by 4 subjects.

"Four people assaulted the company's employees right in front of the traffic police checkpoint. The company has filed a complaint with the Ninh Tho and Ninh An commune police, requesting that they investigate and clarify the matter," said a representative of Quyet Thang Nha Trang bus.

According to the representative of Quyet Thang Nha Trang bus, the acts of blocking the bus, throwing rocks, and beating the employees of this company in front of the traffic police checkpoint were recorded by camera.

Regarding the incident, a representative of Ninh Hoa Traffic Police Station confirmed that there was an incident where a number of subjects assaulted the driver of the Quyet Thang Nha Trang bus at the place where this unit works.
