Bathing in irrigation dam, 2 elementary school girls drowned

On the afternoon of May 18, the People's Committee of Phuoc Chanh Commune (Phuoc Son, Quang Nam ) announced that a drowning incident had just occurred in the area, killing two students.

At around 1:30 p.m. the same day, a group of students from Phuoc Chanh and Phuoc Cong Inter-Commune Primary Schools (Phuoc Son District) went to bathe at the irrigation dam in Village 3, Phuoc Chanh Commune.

At this time, two students, Ho Pham MT (grade 3) and Ho Thi NK (grade 4; both in village 1) drowned and went missing.

Immediately after, the children shouted for local people to come and search for the two victims and take them to the commune health station for first aid. However, both victims died.

While swimming in the sea, encountering big waves, 2 students in TT- Hue drowned. While playing in the sea, 2 students went swimming and encountered big waves and drowned, 1 student unfortunately died.
