The Council of Vietnam Banks Association has just issued a Resolution on electing the organization's representative as Chairman of the Vietnam Banks Association for the 7th term (2020 - 2025).

Mr. Pham Toan Vuong, Member of the Board of Members (BOM), General Director Agribank was elected Chairman of the Vietnam Banking Association for the 7th term.

The Association Council assigns the Standing Agency to be responsible for preparing documents and procedures for reporting to competent state management agencies to ensure compliance with current legal regulations and the Charter (amended and supplemented) of the Vietnam Banking Association.

Previously, on January 9, 2025, the Council of Vietnam Banks Association held the 6th meeting, term VII to agree on the direction of operations in 2025.

At the meeting, the members of the Association Council unanimously approved the dismissal of Mr. Pham Duc An from the position of Chairman of the Council of the Vietnam Banking Association (after Mr. An resigned from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank and accepted a new assignment - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province).

Previously, December 2024, Agribank held a Conference to announce the decision of the Central Business Bloc Party Committee to assign the responsibility of Agribank Party Committee to comrade Pham Toan Vuong - Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director.
