Agribank joins hands to build boarding school in Tay Giang border area

(Chinhphu.vn) - Promoting the spirit of "leaving no one behind", Agribank has accompanied the construction of Tay Giang Boarding School (Da Nang), contributing to the care of education in border areas, fostering learning opportunities for ethnic minority students.

Recently, in Tay Giang commune ( Da Nang city), government leaders presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Tay Giang Primary and Secondary Boarding and Semi-Boarding School.

Comrade To Huy Vu - Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank , along with the bank's delegation, attended the ceremony and donated 20 billion VND to support the construction of the school. This funding was drawn from social welfare funds and contributions from Agribank's officials and employees, demonstrating a spirit of responsibility and partnership with the Government in caring for the cause of education in border regions.

At the ceremony, Mr. To Huy Vu – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank – represented the bank in presenting a sponsorship plaque worth 20 billion VND to the "Building Schools in Da Nang" program. This is the largest sponsorship amount in the program, drawn from social welfare funds and voluntary contributions from Agribank's staff and employees.

This support continues Agribank's series of community-oriented activities over the years – from building solidarity houses, providing healthcare support, donating houses to the poor, to accompanying fishermen in staying at sea and protecting maritime sovereignty.

Every year, Agribank dedicates hundreds of billions of VND to social welfare activities. Specifically on this occasion, the donation of 20 billion VND to build a school in Tay Giang once again affirms the bank's commitment to the community, demonstrating the affection, responsibility, and belief of tens of thousands of Agribank employees in the development of the country.
