Enjoy summer at Da Nang beach

These days, many locations in Da Nang such as East Sea Park, Son Tra Peninsula and My An, My Khe, T18, Nguyen Tat Thanh beaches are even more bustling, crowded with people and tourists coming to visit and experience cultural and artistic activities as part of the series of activities to open the Da Nang beach tourism season 2024.

From 4 p.m. is a suitable time for people and tourists to walk along the beach and participate in and experience cultural and artistic activities.

Choosing Da Nang as a tourist destination during the holiday, Mr. Truong Anh's family (tourists from Ho Chi Minh City) was impressed by the artistic kite flying activity at Bien Dong Park.

“Many times when traveling to Da Nang , my children really like to watch the colorful kites floating in the blue sky. Therefore, every afternoon, the children ask me to take them to see the artistic kite flying activity. We will continue to experience tourism in Da Nang when summer comes,” Mr. Anh shared.

Carrying the joy of summer vacation, Mr. Albert G. Camay (a tourist from the Philippines) and his girlfriend were excited to participate in the "Da Nang Summer Waves 2024" Sea Swimming Competition.

“We have been to Da Nang for several years now, this city is wonderful. The holiday atmosphere is bustling and crowded. What makes me happy is completing the competition and meeting people who love water sports. Participating in the competition is like training to improve health, protect yourself from drowning accidents, this feeling makes me extremely happy”, Mr. Albert G. Camay expressed.

Many entertainment activities for residents and tourists

During the activities organized during the Beach Tourism Season, Do Bao Anh (Hai Chau district) and her friends excitedly participated in the activities on My An beach.

“Experiencing and enjoying different types of cuisine, street art performances… along with the services at the fast food and beverage mobile trucks on My An beach, we not only enjoy relaxing moments but also create many memories together,” Anh said.

For Ms. Ha Ngoc Quyen (a tourist from Quang Nam), Da Nang is a familiar destination whenever her family plans to go on vacation. “It only takes my family more than 1 hour to travel from home to Da Nang. We stopped by the East Sea Park to swim and participate in many interesting recreational activities there. Because I am getting older, traveling to Da Nang is quite suitable for me because I don’t have to travel too far or spend too much money but still have a fun holiday,” Ms. Quyen said.

Locals and tourists enjoy activities at Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2024

Unlike everyone else, Mr. Le Van Linh (a tourist from Gia Lai) followed social media and learned about the series of activities in the 2024 Da Nang Beach Tourism Season, so he planned to go to Da Nang with his extended family during this time.

“I followed social media and accidentally saw information about many activities at Da Nang beach, which coincided with the time my whole family had a long holiday. So the whole family came here to experience it. I was very impressed with the series of activities this year, which were grand and extremely attractive. I hope that in the following years, the city will continue to maintain this activity every summer so that my whole family will have the opportunity to visit and enjoy the summer here,” Linh shared.

"Summer Waves" is the theme of the Opening of the Da Nang Beach Tourism Season 2024. This year, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches has made efforts to renew activities to make the program more attractive and interesting, meeting the entertainment needs of people and tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
