Traders in Bac Giang, Yen Bai , Hung Yen, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Vinh Phuc, and Tuyen Quang are buying live pigs at 58,000 VND/kg.

Latest live pig prices in the Central Highlands region

In this area, the price of live pigs today increased from 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg widely and fluctuated between 56,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the highest increase of 3,000 VND/kg was recorded in Quang Binh, bringing the price of live pigs in this locality to 59,000 VND/kg, equal to Lam Dong.

Also recording an increase of 2,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs in Quang Tri, Quang Nam, and Quang Ngai all rose to 57,000 VND/kg. This price was also recorded in Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, and Ninh Thuan after traders in these localities adjusted the purchase price to increase by 1,000 VND/kg compared to the previous day.

Also recording an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, traders in Binh Thuan, Ha Tinh, and Khanh Hoa recorded prices of 60,000 VND/kg, 58,000 VND/kg, and 56,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Other localities did not record any price fluctuations and fluctuated around 57,000 - 58,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, after increasing by 2,000 VND/kg, the price of live pigs in Vinh Long reached 61,000 VND/kg. This price was also recorded in Kien Giang after traders in this locality adjusted the purchase price up one price compared to the previous day. This is also the highest price in the country.

Also recording an increase of 1,000 VND/kg, traders in Dong Thap and Can Tho are purchasing live pigs at 60,000 VND/kg, equal to Dong Nai and Vung Tau.

In Ca Mau and Ben Tre, the price was recorded at 59,000 VND/kg after traders in these localities adjusted the purchase price of live pigs by 2,000 VND/kg and 1,000 VND/kg respectively compared to the previous day.

Other localities did not record any price fluctuations, of which the lowest price in the region of 57,000 VND/kg was recorded in Tra Vinh.

The remaining localities in the region recorded live pig prices fluctuating around 58,000 - 59,000 VND/kg.
