Within the framework of the working program, the delegation of experts visited Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and the school's lecture halls and practice areas.
Representatives of the two sides discussed the idea of establishing a Medical Cooperation Exhibition Center between BMU – KMU and commercial partners. This will be a creative connection space, displaying advanced technology solutions and medical equipment and a highlight in the comprehensive medical ecosystem that Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy is building in the Central Highlands region.

At the meeting, the Deputy Director of Trung Hoa Memorial Hospital shared his experience in the JCI accreditation process, an international quality certification for hospitals, with many valuable practical contents for medical facilities in Vietnam. Delegates listened to presentations on virtual reality (VR) glasses, Anatomy Cloud applications and artificial intelligence (AI) in medical teaching and clinical diagnosis support - technologies that are shaping the future of modern medicaleducation .
Currently, Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy is focusing on building a Simulation Center to serve clinical skills training and assessment. Buon Ma Thuot University Hospital (BUH) is in the process of comprehensive improvement and upgrading towards international standards. Both units have an urgent need to train high-quality medical human resources to meet the requirements of professional development and improve the effectiveness of health care.

Within the framework of the program, many practical discussions took place, such as the plan to select candidates to participate in a short-term professional training course in Taiwan (China) in 2025, or the potential for cooperation in applied scientific research in medicine, public health and biotechnology.
Dr. CKII. Vo Minh Thanh - Vice Principal of the School shared that the cooperative relationship between Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Trung Hoa Memorial Hospital has been nurtured over many years and marked by remarkable signings and achievements.
Dr. Vo Minh Thanh hopes that during this working session, the two sides will discuss in more depth the plan to send staff to study the simulation center operation model in Taiwan (China); at the same time, he hopes that Trung Hoa Memorial Hospital will share practical experiences in the journey to achieve JCI certification, helping BUH get closer to this standard. In addition, the exchange of lecturers and students between the two units will contribute to training a team of medical experts with specialized capacity, meeting the development and international integration requirements of the current health sector.
