Strengthening the promotion of Phan Thiet City's image

Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan has just signed and issued a Plan to implement the city's external information work in 2024.

One of the important goals of the city's external information work is to improve the quality of propaganda and promotion of a stable, safe and attractive investment environment with many potentials and outstanding advantages of Vietnam in general and of the province and Phan Thiet city in particular to domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in order to attract investment, develop the city's economy , and promote deeper international integration.

Agricultural and seafood products of Phan Thiet city and the province are introduced at domestic and international fairs and exhibitions.

Accordingly, focus on promoting propaganda and promoting the image of Phan Thiet, promoting the results of improving the investment and business environment, improving the PCI, PAR INDEX, PAPI, SIPAS indexes... the results of the city's digital transformation tasks. Phan Thiet's historical and cultural values, potentials and strengths for tourism development, promoting key and typical products. Activities to build and develop cooperative relations, promote investment promotion, cultural exchange, and foreign economic relations of the city to enhance understanding, friendship, trust and cooperation with international friends, contributing to attracting investment, promoting socio-economic development, and building good relationships between the city and the international community. Propagating and integrating foreign information with investment promotion activities, trade, tourism, culture, people's diplomacy ... promoting potentials, strengths, and opportunities for economic, cultural and social development, and promoting trade with localities.

At the same time, deploy foreign information activities according to Conclusion No. 57-KL/TW of the Politburo "On continuing to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign information work in the new situation" and Plan No. 197-KH/TU dated October 27, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on the implementation of this Conclusion...

The Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the city's departments and offices to effectively implement the Plan. Assign the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department to coordinate with relevant agencies in providing and sharing information; direct and orient foreign information in a unified, synchronous and timely manner, especially on important and sensitive issues of public interest. Organize press conferences to ensure unity, synchronization and effectiveness in the work of orientation, monitoring, inspection, urging and improving the effectiveness of foreign information activities in the city. Direct the work of orientation, propaganda and fight against false and distorted arguments about sovereignty over borders, seas and islands; issues of public interest at home and abroad, especially the issues of the East Sea - islands, religion, ethnicity, democracy, human rights, false information affecting the reputation of the city and other relevant organizations.

The Economic Department coordinates to propose that businesses in the city participate in exhibitions and trade fairs with countries in the region to introduce and promote economic potential, develop goods and brands of businesses, and advantageous products of the city to countries around the world invited by trade promotion organizations...
