Giving scholarships and bicycles to poor students to go to school

On September 20, at Dinh My Secondary School, the People's Committee of Dinh My commune (An Giang province) held the 2025 Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for Encouragement of Learning - Encouragement of Talent and Hieu Duc Award. Former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang province Le Van Nung attended.

At the ceremony, 69 students were awarded scholarships from the Scholarship Fund of Dinh My Secondary School, with a total amount of nearly 50 million VND. At the same time, 5 outstanding students received the Virtue Award from Mr. Vo Ngoc Ve, with a total amount of 5.5 million VND.

Dinh My Secondary School's Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 with an initial capital of 650 million VND. Up to now, the total amount has exceeded 1 billion VND, aiming to award scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties to study well; and to reward students and teachers with outstanding achievements.

Donated 40 bicycles to poor but studious students.

On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Trach Commune (An Giang Province) coordinated with the Homeland Love Volunteer Group ( Ho Chi Minh City) to present 40 bicycles and 50,000 VND in cash to 40 poor but studious students; and also presented 70 plastic trays for students to use in daily meals. The total value of the gifts was 63 million VND.
