Increase the number of specialized classes to receive children of former Gia Lai province officials to study in Quy Nhon.

TPO - After the merger of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces, many students who are children of officials and civil servants who have changed their work locations have wanted to change schools. Two major specialized schools in the area, Le Quy Don (Quy Nhon) and Hung Vuong (Pleiku), are urgently carrying out admission procedures.

On July 10, information from the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee said that the Director of the Departmentof Education and Training (GD&DT) of this province has been assigned to direct two specialized schools, Le Quy Don (Quy Nhon ward) and Hung Vuong (Pleiku ward) to carry out procedures to receive and transfer schools for students who wish to attend.

This is to create favorable conditions for students who are children of officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of Gia Lai province (formerly) to transfer their work location to Quy Nhon, after the merger of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces.

Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted has a tradition of good teaching and good learning.

Previously, on July 7, the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province also submitted a document to the Provincial People's Committee requesting permission to increase the number of specialized students in specialized classes to accept students from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted to study at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted.

Speaking with Tien Phong , the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province said that the number of students transferring from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted is still being counted, but the admission process will fully comply with the regulations and rules of specialized schools.

According to Mr. Huynh Le Minh - Principal of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted - the total number of classes at the school is currently 27. After receiving instructions from the department, the school will arrange them reasonably and fully.

Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted is not only known for its tradition of good teaching and good learning, but also for having trained many outstanding talents. One of the school's proud achievements this year is Le Kien Thanh - a 12th grade IT student, who achieved excellent results in the Asia- Pacific Informatics Olympiad.
