On the evening of July 12th, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF) officially concluded with a spectacular fireworks display along the Han River.
The host team used over 7,000 fireworks.
The Jiangxi Yangfeng team (China) defeated the home team representative Z121 Vina Pyrotech - Ministry of Defense to win the championship.
For the first time, the Vietnamese fireworks team reached the finals and competed against the runner-up of DIFF 2024 from China.
Team Z121 used over 7,000 fireworks, combined with music such as "The Spirit of Vietnam," "The Nights," and "Aspiration for Peace ." The performance recreated a modern Vietnam, yearning for development in peace.

The effect of flowers blooming in the air and exploding on the water's surface made the Han River seem to choke with light and emotion during the Z121 team's performance.

The Z121 not only delivered a top-notch technical performance, but it was also a proud declaration of a Vietnam that cherishes peace, aspires to development, and is always ready to contribute to a more stable and brighter world.
The champion combined fireworks displays with 10 musical pieces, including a Vietnamese song.
Meanwhile, Jiangxi Yangfeng impressed with a performance titled "Da Nang: A Shining Gem, City of the Future." The show combined exquisite fireworks displays with 10 international songs, including Vietnamese songs.

The Chinese team surprised everyone by incorporating the Vietnamese song "Bac Bling" into their vibrant fireworks display, synchronized with a series of medium and low-level sweeping fireworks across the water's surface, creating an effect like a dance of light connecting the two cultures.

The finale, "Mountain Call," resonated amidst towering, glittering gold and silver cluster fireworks combined with a continuous stream of confetti, vividly portraying Da Nang as a shining gem on the future map of Asia.
The judges considered it a closely contested competition. However, Jiangxi Yangfeng was honored with a prize of $20,000; team Z121 received the runner-up prize of $10,000.
In addition, the organizers also awarded three special prizes: "Creativity" to the Portuguese team, "Audience Favorite" to the Da Nang team, and "Promising" to the Italian team.

DIFF 2025 recorded impressive growth: over 98,000 visitors stayed overnight during the final period, a 6.4% increase compared to the same period last year, with international visitors increasing by as much as 81%.
Da Nang Airport recorded 171 flights on July 11th, surpassing last year's record. Tickets for the fireworks viewing cruises were 90% full.

Over the next five years, DIFF will receive more substantial investment to become a new growth engine for the night-time economy.
Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi affirmed that DIFF will continue to receive larger-scale investment, becoming a new driving force for the development of the night-time economy and tourism, contributing to positioning Da Nang's cultural brand on the international map.
