Kunming – The gateway to Yunnan
The Vinh Hy Resort in Khanh Hoa province recently successfully organized a tour to explore famous destinations in Yunnan province, China. The group visited renowned landmarks such as Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang.
The main objective of this trip is to establish and develop new tourist routes, thereby bringing Vietnamese tourists closer to the unique natural beauty and culture of Yunnan.
At the same time, this is also a strategic step to attract Chinese tourists to visit and vacation in Khanh Hoa , creating strong bilateral tourism exchange and development.

The first stop upon arriving in Yunnan is Kunming – the "city of spring," serving as the gateway for the group to explore this region. Thanks to its mild and pleasant climate year-round, the city is always brimming with vibrant flowers.
In Kunming, visitors begin their journey by immersing themselves in the vibrant and colorful atmosphere of the Kunming Flower and Bird Market. Next, a must-see is Daguan Park, located on the shores of Dianchi Lake.
This place is famous for its beautiful traditional gardens and the Grand View Tower, an ancient tower housing the longest couplet inscription in China, carrying profound historical and scenic significance, creating an unforgettable cultural experience.

Visitors can especially witness flocks of albatrosses migrating from Siberia (Russia) and other cold northern regions down to Kunming (mainly Lake Dianchi) to overwinter, turning this place into a "aling albatross paradise" in winter (approximately November to March).
Tens of thousands of tame birds swoop into tourists' hands to eat bread, creating a unique spectacle that attracts many tourists to experience and take photos.
Dali – An ancient city with picturesque scenery.
Leaving Kunming, the "city of spring," the survey team continued their journey to Dali, a legendary destination nestled between the majestic Cangshan Mountains and the picturesque Erhai Lake.

The ancient city of Dali, built during the Ming Dynasty, is like a time machine, preserving its sturdy city walls and traditional architecture. Visitors feel transported to ancient times as they stroll along the cobblestone streets, admire the gracefully curved roofs, and enjoy the rich local cuisine.
Nearby is Xizhou Ancient Town, a living museum of the architecture and culture of the Bai ethnic group. Xizhou is famous for its exquisitely carved ancient houses, clearly showcasing the "three rooms, one wall reflecting" style.

Exploring Xizhou is a great way to learn more about the unique customs and traditions of the Bai people, a renowned ethnic group in Yunnan. A must-see natural highlight in Dali is Erhai Lake, the heart of the city, shaped like a giant human ear.
The scenery of the emerald green lake, surrounded by the gently sloping hills of Mount Cangshan, creates a captivating and picturesque landscape. To fully enjoy the beauty of this place, visitors can rent bicycles or electric vehicles to ride along the lakeside road.

Early morning or late afternoon are the ideal times to admire the ethereal drifting clouds and the shimmering golden sunlight reflecting on the lake's surface, creating a feeling of absolute tranquility.
Lijiang - A World Heritage Site and Snow-Covered Beauty
Lijiang is famous for its ancient town steeped in Naxi culture and its snow-capped mountains that remain cold year-round.
Lijiang, often referred to collectively as Lijiang Old Town (including Dayan Ancient Town), is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its intricate network of canals, charming stone bridges, and traditional wooden houses create a romantic and unique atmosphere.

Adjacent to Lijiang Old Town lies Jade Dragon Snow Mountain – the highest peak in Yunnan.
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a majestic symbol of Lijiang, with 13 snow-capped peaks that remain pristine white year-round, resembling a jade dragon soaring through the sky from afar.
Here, you can use the cable car service to ascend to an altitude of over 4,500 meters to admire the panoramic view of the glacier and sea of clouds. Visitors should bring warm clothing and a mini oxygen tank as the air at this altitude is quite thin.
Visit Blue Moon Valley, a valley at the foot of Jade Dragon Mountain with its stunning turquoise waters.

Traveling in Yunnan offers various transportation options between major cities like Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang, including high-speed trains (which are very convenient and fast).
According to international tour guide Kim Hy (from China): "Visiting Yunnan allows you to explore Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang, which are full of historical stories, ancient architecture, and stunning natural landscapes."
Here, visitors can also enjoy many authentic local dishes along with a wide variety of fresh and delicious fruits from this region.

With numerous attractive destinations, Yunnan province in China welcomes over 50 million domestic and international tourists each year.
