The acquisition of new aircraft just before the year-end peak season is not only a timely addition to Bamboo Airways' resources, but also marks an important step in restoring the size of its fleet after the airline returned under the management of FLC Group.
Mr. Truong Phuong Thanh, General Director of Bamboo Airways, said that increasing the size of its fleet is a key foundation for the airline to expand its flight network, increase frequency on existing routes, and improve overall operational efficiency. With a strengthened and expanded fleet, Bamboo Airways will be able to open new routes and restore many previously operated domestic and international routes, thereby better meeting the diverse travel needs of passengers both domestically and internationally.

"This also provides the conditions for Bamboo Airways to develop in a new direction, in the context of the vibrant and heavily invested Vietnamese aviation market," said the CEO of Bamboo Airways.
The effort to add aircraft starting in 2025 is part of a long-term plan to bring the fleet back to the size of 30 aircraft as licensed by the Government . In the medium term, Bamboo Airways aims to add 8-10 aircraft each year, preparing for the accelerated development of its flight network from 2026 to 2030.
With the timely addition of new aircraft, Bamboo Airways will continue to increase its operating capacity to serve the peak period of the Lunar New Year, especially on trunk routes and routes for tourism and visiting relatives.
Bamboo Airways has been selling Tet holiday tickets through all its official distribution channels since early on. The airline plans to increase its supply capacity by 16%, focusing on increasing the frequency of existing routes and reopening a series of routes that are of great interest to passengers, such as Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh (1 flight/day), Ho Chi Minh City - Thanh Hoa (1 flight/day), Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong (2 flights/day),...
Bamboo Airways is offering an attractive promotion for flights operated with its new aircraft: an 18% discount on fares for Economy Smart and Economy Saver Max classes, and an 8% discount on other fare classes; valid from December 14th to December 17th, 2025, for flights departing between December 14th and December 30th, 2025 (excluding peak periods).

Alongside increasing capacity, Bamboo Airways is also accelerating its recruitment and training plan to support its fleet expansion. The airline is intensively recruiting flight attendants on a large scale and plans to hold recruitment events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City at the end of December 2025.
