On February 6, 2025, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly passed Resolution No. 1402/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on increasing the number of Deputy Ministers and Deputy Heads of ministerial-level agencies.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly resolved: Increase the number of Deputy Ministers and Deputy Heads of ministerial-level agencies of the following Ministries and ministerial-level agencies to meet the requirements of staff arrangement and assignment when implementing the arrangement and streamlining of the state apparatus:
1. Increase 01 Deputy Minister so that the total number of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs is no more than 07;
2. Increase 04 Deputy Ministers so that the total number of Deputy Ministers of Finance is no more than 09;
3. Increase 04 Deputy Ministers so that the total number of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Construction is no more than 09;
4. Increase 02 Deputy Ministers so that the total number of Deputy Ministers of the Ministry of Home Affairs is no more than 07;
5. Increase 01 Deputy Governor so that the total number of Deputy Governors of the State Bank of Vietnam is no more than 06.
This Resolution comes into force from February 6, 2025.
