An Giang University has maintained its Job Fair program for the past 13 years as a bridge between businesses and young, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable human resources. 2026 marks the 13th edition of the program, attracting over 40 participating businesses with 54 actively operating booths; more than 5,000 students came to explore career opportunities, and nearly 700 job positions were directly offered to potential candidates in various fields such as economics , technology, agriculture, education, and services.

The atmosphere at the job fair was bustling from early morning. The booths were constantly filled with students seeking information about job openings, submitting applications, and participating in direct interviews. Many businesses meticulously prepared promotional materials, business models, and even small gifts to attract students. Standing at the recruitment booth, Mr. Jeong Incheol, Director of Administration and Human Resources at An Giang Samho Co., Ltd., stated that the company is currently recruiting approximately 2,000 unskilled workers with salaries up to 7 million VND per month and various benefits. There are also positions available for skilled workers.

Meanwhile, Sun Group Phu Quoc is recruiting for numerous positions in various fields including office administration, engineering, security, real estate, entertainment, resorts, and aviation, offering attractive benefits. Dai Nghia Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is hiring over 20 sales and market development staff. Hai Phong Investment, Trade and Construction Co., Ltd. is also introducing recruitment programs for work in Japan across various industries and professions.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Tri, Vice Rector of An Giang University, stated: “The Job Fair is a strategic event organized periodically by the university to fulfill its commitment to building a sustainable bridge between the classroom and the labor market. For graduating students, this is an opportunity to access practical recruitment information, career guidance, and stable employment. It is also an opportunity for businesses to access young, dynamic, and well-trained human resources.”

For students, the job fair also marks a transition from the academic environment to their future career path. Dao Thi Bich Ly, a fourth-year international economics student at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, shared: “Preparing to enter the job market, I can't help but feel apprehensive. There are many opportunities ahead, but also many challenges. Leaving school, we must learn to be independent and take responsibility for each of our choices. I believe that every experience, whether successful or unsuccessful, helps us grow.”

Nguyen Le Uyen Nhi, a second-year student in the Faculty of Foreign Languages, said that participating in the job fair helped her better understand the needs of the labor market, learn interview skills, and develop a professional demeanor to better prepare for the future. Bui Phu Tan, a third-year student in the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, also expressed his desire to find an environment where he can learn, develop long-term, and utilize his abilities. "We hope to receive more insights from businesses to better understand job requirements, thereby improving ourselves," Tan said.

Not only do students hope to find suitable opportunities, but businesses also want to recruit young human resources with knowledge, confidence, and a proactive spirit. Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Y, Head of Human Resources for the Southern Region of Sunjin Vina Co., Ltd., shared that hundreds of students visited the recruitment booth to learn about the company and network. With the mission of "Nurturing Dreams Together," Sunjin Vina always strives to find and cultivate young talents that fit its corporate culture.

Meetings and exchanges held at the booths helped bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace, opening up more opportunities for schools, businesses, and students alike on their future development journey.
