Mr. Tran Cong Kha: Rubber seeds were officially introduced to Vietnam in 1897, up to now it has been 127 years, a long journey of history associated with revolutionary movements, struggles for national liberation, liberation of the country... During that time, a bright historical milestone that has become a highlight forming the traditional day of the rubber industry is the event of establishing the Indochinese Communist Party Cell in Village 3 of Phu Rieng plantation on the night of October 28, 1929, under the direction of comrade Ngo Gia Tu (Village 3 belonged to Thuan Loi commune in the past and is now Thuan Phu commune, Dong Phu district, Binh Phuoc province today). This is the first Communist Party cell in the Southeast region. In the two long struggles of the nation to regain independence, rubber plantations were both the rear base providing human resources and material resources, nurturing and hiding cadres; and the front line of fierce confrontation with the enemy. On each of those bloody journeys, many patriotic examples shone, many rubber workers and cadres did not spare their blood and bones together with the people and army of the East, creating many heroic feats, contributing worthily to the great victory of April 30, unifying the Fatherland. Mr. Tran Cong Kha: The Group is currently promoting effective development in 5 core business areas: Planting, harvesting, processing and consuming rubber; Rubber industry; Wood processing; Investing in infrastructure of industrial parks/industrial clusters on rubber land; High-tech agriculture , clean agriculture. The Group is considered one of the pioneering enterprises with outstanding achievements in implementing the strategy of green growth and sustainable development, associated with 3 pillars: Economic development - Social responsibility - Environmental protection. Actively contribute to the process of protecting national defense and security in remote areas, border and island areas. The Group continues to adhere to the goal of sustainable development, on the three pillars of economy - society - environment. At the parent company - the Group, in the first 9 months of 2024, revenue and other income reached VND 2,413 billion/plan VND 3,988 billion (equal to 60.51% of the plan); pre-tax profit/after-tax profit VND 1,011 billion/plan VND 1,454 billion (equal to 69.53% of the plan). It is estimated that for the whole year of 2024, revenue and other income will reach VND 4,150 billion/plan VND 3,988 billion (equal to 104.06% of the plan), pre-tax profit/after-tax profit is estimated at VND 1,532 billion/plan VND 1,454 billion (equal to 105.36% of the plan). Regarding the implementation of the consolidated production and business plan of the whole Group: In the first 9 months of the year, consolidated revenue and other income was VND 16,207 billion/plan VND 24,999 billion (equal to 64.83% of the plan), consolidated pre-tax profit was VND 2,850 billion/plan VND 4,104 billion (equal to 69.44% of the plan), consolidated after-tax profit was VND 2,386 billion/plan VND 3,437 billion (equal to 69.44% of the plan). Estimated for the whole year 2024, consolidated revenue and other income will reach VND 26,307 billion/VND 24,999 billion (equal to 105.23% of the plan), consolidated pre-tax profit will be VND 4,450 billion/plan VND 4,104 billion (equal to 108.43% of the plan), consolidated after-tax profit will be VND 3,746 billion/plan VND 3,437 billion (equal to 108.99% of the plan). Continue to maintain and create stable jobs for more than 81,500 workers with an average income of over VND 7.5 million/person/month - in addition to creating the best conditions for workers to develop their household economy so that they can stick with and develop together with the rubber industry. In addition to successfully completing production and business targets, the Group always pays attention to supporting social security work, building many welfare projects to serve workers, so that the living environment of workers becomes better and better. Sharing support for difficulties, repaying gratitude and developing the community is of special interest to the Group, implemented regularly and continuously in all areas where the Group's member units operate, both domestically and in the two neighboring countries of Laos and Cambodia, which are highly appreciated by the local authorities and people. The Group also proposes many suitable solutions to attract and retain ethnic minority workers, helping to shape industrial production practices for farmers in remote, isolated and border areas; actively contribute to stabilizing order and society, building new rural areas, consolidating and maintaining national security and defense in rubber areas, actively contributing to consolidating and developing the friendship between the two countries of Vietnam - Lao PDR and Vietnam - Kingdom of Cambodia, the close-knit relationship between the two peoples of Vietnam - Laos and Vietnam - Cambodia.
