FVG Group supports 600 million VND to eliminate temporary houses in 3 mountainous communes

DNO - On July 18, FVG Group donated 600 million VND to support the construction of 10 new houses for disadvantaged households in 3 communes of Duc Phu, Song Kon and Ben Hien in Da Nang city.

FVG Group's program is in response to the Prime Minister 's call to join hands in "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" by 2025.

Specifically, 10 houses will be allocated to Duc Phu commune (2 houses), Song Kon commune (3 houses), Ben Hien commune (5 houses). Each house is sponsored 60 million VND, designed to be solid, suitable for terrain and climate conditions and safe during the rainy and stormy season.

The houses were simultaneously started from July 15 to 18 and are committed to be completed before September 2, 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and also the 10th anniversary of the establishment of FVG Group.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony in Duc Phu commune, Mr. Vu Cao Giang, General Director of FVG Land Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, representative of FVG Group, said that with the motto of sustainable development associated with community responsibility, this housing sponsorship program is a practical activity, contributing to eliminating makeshift houses, providing a solid home, arousing confidence and motivation for households to work with peace of mind and rise out of poverty.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan Trang, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Duc Phu Commune, FVG’s participation in eliminating temporary houses is a great motivation for the locality, helping people to stabilize their lives. All funding will be used for the right purpose and effectively.

In Song Kon commune, Mr. Do Huu Tung, Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, said that the locality appreciates the companionship of FVG Group - a pioneer unit, accompanying the locality in practical social security programs, especially housing support for ethnic minorities.

It is known that since its establishment, FVG Group has been persistently implementing long-term and widespread charity programs in the locality such as: "Tet Charity", "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children", "Going to School with Children" to scholarship sponsorship, medical support, giving Tet gifts and activities to care for the lives of ethnic minorities...

In the mountainous areas west of Da Nang city, a key area in the investment strategy, FVG Group also established many long-term twinning relationships with mountainous communes, regularly organizing practical sponsorship programs and creating job opportunities for local people.

In the past 5 years, the total budget for FVG Group's local charity activities reached nearly 4 billion VND.
