Midea Group (China) explores expanding investment in Binh Duong

(BDO) On the afternoon of May 14, at the Provincial Administrative Center, Mr. Bui Minh Tri, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, hosted a reception for Mr. Yu Zhi Min, Director of Midea Group (China) who came to learn about investment in Binh Duong.

Overview of the reception

At the meeting, Mr. Yu Zhi Min said that Midea Group is one of the leading groups in the home appliance industry in China. The Group's first factory outside China was built in Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park 1 in 2007. Next, the Group built a second factory in My Phuoc 3 Industrial Park, Ben Cat City.

In recent years, Midea Group's factories in Binh Duong have been operating effectively and developing strongly. Revenue in 2024 increased by more than 50% compared to 2023. Enterprises highly appreciate the strong development of infrastructure and attractive investment attraction policies of Binh Duong province. Therefore, Midea Group wishes to explore opportunities to continue investing in expanding factories in Binh Duong.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also shared that, in order to create favorable conditions for businesses to operate smoothly and effectively, Binh Duong has invested in completing the system of roads, highways, railways, river ports... connecting the region, serving the transportation of goods to airports and seaports.

Along with existing industrial parks, the province continues to develop new generation industrial parks in the direction of ecology, high technology, specialized, and science and technology industrial parks. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Tri affirmed that with its available advantages, Binh Duong always creates all conditions for businesses to come and learn, invest, and operate effectively.
