Training for green traffic teams of volunteer youth in the capital

This is a joint activity between the City Youth Union - Vietnam Youth Union and Hanoi Police to provide knowledge and skills to youth volunteer traffic guidance teams of 30 districts, towns and cities in the city.

Thereby promoting the vanguard and volunteer spirit of the capital's youth in ensuring traffic order and safety and participating in overcoming traffic congestion; at the same time, continuing to raise awareness among the Youth Union cadres, members, youth, and teenagers, considering this a key task in the educational work of the Youth Union and youth organizations with the Youth Union as the core.

The training session has improved the knowledge and awareness of the youth volunteers about traffic safety.

At the training session, officers from the Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police exchanged and shared with more than 300 Youth Union and Association officials, members of 15 city-level green traffic teams and 30 grassroots-level green traffic teams about skills to maintain traffic order and safety; instructed on traffic command and control movements...

Through real-life situations and hot issues on traffic safety in the city, union members and young people have gained more knowledge and skills to drive safely and to propagate, mobilize and guide people to participate in traffic safety.

Nguyen Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City, said that this activity is part of a series of programs to concretize Decision No. 3823/QD-UBND of the Hanoi People's Committee on approving the Project of Capital Youth participating in propaganda and maintaining traffic order and safety in the period of 2022-2025; implementing the Project "Capital Youth participating in propaganda and maintaining traffic order and safety in the period of 2022-2025" to be implemented in 2024.
