Traditional activities to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Hero Ly Tu Trong

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh reviewed the life and revolutionary career of Hero Ly Tu Trong, a great-willed youth hero - the first member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Throughout his life, the young man, Hero Ly Tu Trong was constantly devoted, devoted and loyal to the revolutionary path. His sacrifice was the flame that ignited the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of many generations of young people.

According to the Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, inheriting the nation's revolutionary tradition and following his example, in the current national renovation process, along with the youth of the whole country, the youth of the capital are always the vanguard force in studying, building and protecting the homeland and country.

In recent times, the youth of the capital have effectively implemented many revolutionary movements and action programs such as: "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", "Youth Volunteers to Protect the Fatherland", "I Love Hanoi", creating a healthy environment for youth to be nurtured, trained, and promote their responsibility to the community and society.

Along with that, the Hanoi Youth Union has deployed many political and traditional activities in the Youth Union at all levels such as: "Journey in the footsteps of heroes", "Youth of the Capital follow Uncle Ho's words", "Youth of the Capital proudly marches forward under the Party flag", "Youth of the Capital steadfastly believes in the Party"... associated with the work of educating revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride and self-respect for children and teenagers.

The Youth Union has affirmed its role as a place to create an environment and conditions for young people to practice and mature; so that each young person can demonstrate their mettle and national responsibility; contribute their talent, youth, and creativity in all fields, and effectively participate in socio- economic development, building the Capital and the country.

"Following the example of Hero Ly Tu Trong, each young person will have awareness and thoughts about their responsibility for the common work of the Capital and the country and have their own plans to continue realizing their aspirations and ideals. The youth of the Capital are determined to affirm their responsibility through specific and practical actions; promote the pioneering and creative role of youth in successfully carrying out the political tasks of the City; in participating in building and protecting the rich and civilized Vietnam" - Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union affirmed.

At the traditional meeting, the youth of the capital respectfully offered Hero Ly Tu Trong fresh flowers and expressed their gratitude and respect for the young hero. At the same time, they vowed to cultivate revolutionary ethics, foster ideals, and live responsibly towards their families, society, and country. Constantly consolidate and build a strong Youth Union organization in terms of ideology, politics, organization, and action, firmly uphold the Party's ideals, and expand the front to gather and unite the youth.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Youth Union launched a competition to achieve achievements to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Hero Ly Tu Trong; calling on union members and young people to register practical youth projects and tasks to promote the spirit of initiative, creativity and volunteerism of the capital's youth.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded Youth Union books and Youth Union badges to 20 students of the 110th Youth Union class on the occasion of the 110th birthday of Hero Ly Tu Trong.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Hanoi Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union presented the Beautiful Youth Award to outstanding youths of Tay Ho district.
