On July 15, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held a training conference on ethnic and religious work in Son La province in 2025.

Attending the conference were leaders of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; 75 delegates who are officials and civil servants working in ethnic and religious affairs in communes and wards in the province.

At the conference, delegates were informed about ethnic policy programs being implemented in the province; professional work of state management on beliefs and religions; instructions on developing content and forms, and periodic reporting timelines according to regulations.

Through the conference, delegates were equipped with knowledge and skills on ethnic and religious work, aiming to improve implementation efficiency in the context of reorganizing commune-level administrative units and implementing the 2-level government model. At the same time, answering and resolving difficulties related to the regime and policies for communes and villages after the merger, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of ethnic and religious work in the province.
