Training on tour guide skills at tourist attractions in the province

On July 31, Lai Chau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a training course on tour guide skills at tourist destinations: Sin Suoi Ho village, Vang Pheo village, San Thang village, Si Thau Chai village and Tham village.

Overview of the training class.

Participants are people who are directly involved in tour guide activities or have the desire to become tour guides at local community tourism sites.

At the training class, students listened to lecturer Hoang Thi Phuong Nga - Master of Tourism - Faculty of Tourism - Thai Nguyen University of Science convey the topics: Tourist psychology; Communication skills in tourism; Tour guide and explanation skills; Tourist care skills; Sales skills in tourism activities; Tourism communication and promotion skills; Security and safety in tourism; Practice of tour guide skills. The lecturer presented in a lively and enthusiastic manner; conveyed both theory and practice to students, helping them to easily absorb.

The on-site tour guide training course is one of the activities to support community tourism destinations in developing tourism human resources. With the basic knowledge from the training course, trainees can apply it to the actual conditions of each tourist destination to perform well the tour guide activities, meeting the needs of tourists when coming to Lai Chau.
