DTO - On the morning of May 15, at the Provincial Party Committee hall, comrade Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting between the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committees of the District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee in the first 4 months of 2025. Also attending the conference were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee, Dong Thap Newspaper, Dong Thap Radio and Television Station, and the Provincial Political School.

In the first 4 months of 2025, the Standing Committee of the district Party Committee (equivalent) focused on leading and directing Party committees and Party organizations to deploy tasks in 2025; develop and promulgate the Action Program, Working Program, Inspection and Supervision Program of the district Party Committee in 2025 and socio -economic development programs and plans of the district level in 2025. At the same time, seriously and synchronously implement in accordance with the direction of the Central Committee on the policy of personnel work to reorganize the apparatus of agencies, units and localities in the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient.

The leadership and direction of the implementation of socio-economic development tasks have achieved many positive results. The province has recognized 20 more communes meeting advanced new rural standards, with a total of 58 communes meeting advanced new rural standards to date, accounting for 50.88% of the total number of communes; Tam Nong and Tan Hong districts were recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting new rural standards in 2024. The total state budget revenue in the first 4 months of 2025 reached 28.29% of the 2025 target; the whole province has 343 newly established enterprises and 4 cooperatives; tourism has grown positively, with tourism revenue of more than 1,170 billion VND, reaching 48.43% of the annual plan. The health insurance coverage rate reached 91.6% of the population; more than 16,100 workers received job counseling and referrals; more than 800 workers went to work abroad for a limited period under contracts. The whole province has 2,311 households in need of support under the Program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses"; as of May 8, 2025, more than 1,800 houses have been built and repaired...

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the results of leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels in implementing socio-economic development tasks; progress of disbursement of public investment capital, State budget collection, implementation of key projects and works; new rural construction, implementation of the Program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in localities. At the same time, they reported on the arrangement of the apparatus of agencies, units and localities in accordance with the direction of the Central Government; preparation and organization of grassroots Party congresses; security and order situation - border areas...

Concluding the conference, comrade Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee agencies requested the Standing Committees of the District Party Committees, City Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee to advise the Standing Committee of the Party Committee at all levels to lead and direct the implementation of a number of key tasks in the coming time. In particular, focusing on effectively implementing the Action Program of the Provincial Party Committee, paying attention to collecting the State budget, disbursing public investment capital, implementing key programs and key projects to ensure progress. At the same time, focusing on leading and directing the organization of grassroots Party congresses in the spirit of Directive No. 45 dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; focusing on preparing documents and personnel for the congress, ensuring compliance with the regulations of higher levels and in accordance with the practical situation of the locality.
