Focus on handling serious incidents at the Cement Factory

Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Do Duc Duy directly visited and encouraged the victims of the accident.

According to initial information, during the periodic maintenance and repair of the No. 3 crusher of the Factory, an electric motor failure occurred, killing 7 workers and injuring 3 others. The injured workers are currently being treated at Yen Bai Provincial General Hospital.

Immediately after receiving information from Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company, Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Do Duc Duy and Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee Tran Huy Tuan, along with the province's functional agencies, directly inspected the scene, discussed and directed measures to handle and resolve the accident.

Authorities of Yen Bai province and Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company are focusing on handling the incident.

For the three injured workers being treated at Yen Bai Provincial General Hospital, Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Do Duc Duy directly visited, gave gifts and encouraged the victims being treated at the hospital's trauma department.

According to the assessment, all 3 victims suffered minor injuries. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy kindly inquired about the health situation and shared the risks with the victims' families. Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee also requested the leadership team and doctors of Yen Bai General Hospital to promote the maximum sense of responsibility, focus on human resources, supplies, and medicine to provide emergency and timely treatment for the victims. At the same time, he hoped that the victims and their families would share the risks with the enterprise if unfortunate accidents occurred during the work process. In the immediate future, the victims and their families need to coordinate well with the hospital's doctors and nurses to actively treat and quickly recover their health.

Along with that, the authorities of Yen Bai province and Yen Bai Cement and Minerals Joint Stock Company are actively implementing measures to support the families of the unfortunate victims; urgently investigating the cause of the incident to strictly handle it according to the provisions of law.
