Tay Ninh: Meeting of businessmen and enterprises on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Vietnamese Businessmen's Day

Attending the meeting were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Quyet; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Pham Hung Thai; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai, along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of departments, branches, associations and a team of entrepreneurs, enterprises and investors in the province.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition and significance of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day (October 13); the results and contributions of the business community and enterprises in the socio -economic development of the province.

With the timely and drastic attention, leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee, the business community and enterprises in the province have promoted their mettle, overcome difficulties and strive for development.

Up to now, there are more than 31,481 enterprises operating in the province with a total registered capital of VND 918,267 billion, contributing to the positive results in the economic development of the province with an economic growth rate (GRDP) in the first 9 months of 2025 reaching 9.52% - the highest increase in the Southeast region and ranked 8th in the country; budget revenue of more than VND 40,000 billion, reaching 105% of the plan, ensuring resources for investment, development and social security.

The private economic sector continues to affirm its role as the main driving force of growth, accounting for about 60% of the economic scale, contributing nearly 24% of total budget revenue and creating jobs for more than 77% of the province's workforce.

Promoting its role as a representative organization, accompanying the business community in the province, Tay Ninh Provincial Business Association is not only a bridge between the government and businesses but also a place to connect and support members to develop together.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut acknowledged the contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs in the construction and development of Tay Ninh province.

Entering a new development phase, the Document of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term determined that by 2030, Tay Ninh province will strive to have a dynamic and sustainable economic development; be a strategic connection center between the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta, and at the same time be a strategic trade hub with Cambodia.

In the spirit of sharing and accompanying entrepreneurs and enterprises, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut emphasized that with the motto "The success of enterprises is the success of the province", considering the development of enterprises as a measure of the effectiveness of government management, the province is committed to continue listening, removing difficulties, improving the responsibility of civil servants, ensuring transparency and fairness in policy access.

Sharing at the conference, Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial Business Association Trinh Van Hai affirmed: “Accompanying the socio-economic development of the province, Tay Ninh business community is transforming more strongly than ever. The Association is proud to be a trusted companion of nearly 400 members, always striving to be a bridge between the government and businesses, between businesses with each other, to remove difficulties, promote connections, and sustainable development. Not only focusing on production and business, members also actively participate in social security work, contributing more than 32 billion VND to help the poor, encourage education and 'Repay gratitude'. We believe that economic development is only truly meaningful when it brings happiness to the community."
