Cau Khoi Commune Police support people to receive back 115 million VND mistakenly transferred

On October 13, the Cau Khoi Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province received a letter of thanks from Ms. Duong Thi Pho (49 years old, residing in Khoi Trung Hamlet, Cau Khoi Commune) for promptly assisting people in receiving back the entire amount of 115 million VND due to an accidental transfer to the wrong bank account.

Previously, on August 4, 2025, while making a transaction on her mobile phone, due to carelessness, Ms. Pho mistakenly transferred 115 million VND to a strange account number. This was the amount of money her family had saved from trading, a huge asset for the family.

As soon as she discovered the incident, Ms. Pho quickly contacted the bank to request support and went to Cau Khoi Commune Police to report the incident. After receiving the report, with a high sense of responsibility, the Cau Khoi Commune Police Command urgently directed the Crime Prevention Team to deploy professional verification measures.

Through quick verification, the police identified the beneficiary of the above amount of money as Ms. Ng.Th.YT, residing in An Giang province.

Recognizing the complicated nature of the case because the wrong recipient was from another province, making it difficult to verify and recover the property, the Commune Police Command developed a plan and assigned forces to directly implement professional measures. The Commune Police force mobilized Ms. T. to cooperate and return all the money mistakenly received to Ms. Pho in accordance with the law.

As soon as she received the full amount of 115 million VND, in her overwhelming joy and deep gratitude, Ms. Pho wrote a thank you letter and directly went to the Commune Police headquarters to thank the Command Board and all officers and soldiers.

In the letter, Mrs. Pho emotionally wrote: “With tireless efforts and the spirit of “Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people”, you comrades have helped me recover the entire amount of money that was mistakenly transferred. For my family, this is not only the recovery of a large asset, but also a solid reinforcement of faith in justice, in the image of the People's Public Security soldier who is always a solid support for the people in difficult times”./.
