Releasing 61 thousand fish fry to create aquatic resources

On June 20, the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Fisheries of Thai Nguyen province released 11,000 fish fry (grass carp, bighead carp) into the Cau River, in the area of ​​Mau Thoai Temple, Ben Than, Hoang Van Thu Ward (Thai Nguyen City).

Leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment participated in releasing fish fry in the Cau River.

Releasing fish fry is an activity organized annually by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries of the province to restore and ensure the population density of species in the water body and regenerate aquatic resources on the Cau River and large reservoirs in the province.

On this occasion, 11 thousand fish fry were released into Cau River to regenerate aquatic resources.

According to the plan, from now until the end of June, the unit will continue to release 30,000 fish fry into Nui Coc Lake in Tan Thai Commune (Dai Tu) and 20,000 fish fry into Bao Linh Lake (Dinh Hoa).

Releasing fish into Cau River and large reservoirs is organized annually by the Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries of the province.

In addition to fish release activities, the Provincial Department of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary and Fisheries also coordinates with relevant levels, branches and local authorities to propagate to local people about the importance and content of the work of protecting and developing aquatic resources.
