Thai Nguyen: Solemnly held the 95th Anniversary of the Party's Founding Day

On January 25, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee solemnly held the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) at the relic site where the first Communist Party base of the Provincial Party Committee was established in 1936, Lau Sau hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu district.

Comrade Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech at the Ceremony. Also attending were comrades: Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former provincial leaders, members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, secretaries of affiliated Party Committees, senior Party members and 95 outstanding young Party members of the Provincial Party Committee...

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Viet Hung recalled the birth, role and historical mission of the Communist Party of Vietnam towards the country and the nation in leading the struggle for independence and defending the Fatherland, firmly moving towards socialism. In particular, over 40 years of implementing the renovation process, the country has achieved great achievements; the country's foundation, potential, position and international prestige have never been as good as today. Inheriting those great revolutionary achievements, the generations today and forever in the future will always remember the great merit of the great President Ho Chi Minh - the founder, leader and trainer of our Party...

He affirmed: The 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam is an opportunity for us to review our traditions; to be proud of the greatness of the Party in the past; and at the same time to be proud of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee with its rich tradition of revolutionary struggle, always closely associated with and a part of the glorious history of the Party. Starting from a Party cell established in Lau Sau hamlet at the end of 1936 with only 4 Party members, up to now, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee has grown strongly with over 101,000 Party members, operating in 575 Party cell organizations.

Throughout the past, the Provincial Party Committee has always promoted the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, solidarity, unity, leading the government and people of Thai Nguyen to overcome all difficulties and challenges, persistently strive to gain many important achievements, and has been awarded many noble awards by the Party and State.

The year 2025 is of special significance, the year of "acceleration and breakthrough" to reach the finish line in implementing the 5-year socio-economic development tasks (2021 - 2025), the year of organizing party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress. Thai Nguyen determined that it is necessary to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovative thinking, high determination, great efforts, drastic actions, breakthrough solutions, creative and effective ways of doing things, and strive to successfully achieve the goals and targets.

Before that, the delegates offered incense at the relic of Mr. Duong Van Hon's house (where the ceremony of admitting 4 party members and establishing the first grassroots party organization of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee took place); and offered incense at the relic site where the first Communist Party organization of the Provincial Party Committee was established.

Provincial leaders presented gifts to representatives of policy families in Dai Tu district.

At the Ceremony, the Provincial Party Standing Committee presented gifts to 5 elderly party members and 10 policy families in Dai Tu district.

Provincial leaders and delegates took souvenir photos at the relic site where the first Communist Party base of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee was established.

At the end of 1936, at the three-room thatched house in the middle of the reed forest of Mr. Duong Van Hon's family (aka Nhat Quy) in Lau Sau hamlet, La Bang commune, comrades: Duong Van Hon, Nong Van Ai, Hoang Van Nghiep, Duong Van Ngan were honored to be admitted to the Indochinese Communist Party. The Party base in La Bang commune was the first Party base in Thai Nguyen province.

In early 2024, the historical relic site where the first Communist Party base of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee was established was completed, expanded and renovated with a total area of nearly 20,000m2, with 5 main items.
