On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin - 2024, this afternoon, January 22, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang visited and presented Tet gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions and party members over 70 years old in Gio Linh district.

Specifically, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang visited and presented gifts to the following people: Ms. Hoang Thi Ut, a 70% disabled veteran currently living in Tan Ky village, Gio Quang commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a resistance activist infected with toxic chemicals, living in Quarter 3, Cua Viet town and Ms. Mai Thi Hoa, wife of martyr Bui Quang Kham, currently living in Nam Son village, Trung Giang commune; Party members with 70 years of Party membership or more: Mr. Le Xuan Huong in Vinh Quang Thuong village, Gio Quang commune; Mr. Hoang Can in Xuan Ngoc village, Gio Viet commune.

At the places visited, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Duc Thang kindly asked about the health and daily life of policy beneficiaries and party members over 70 years old and said that the Party and State always strive to take care of people's lives, especially families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution.

At the same time, he hopes that policy beneficiaries and party members over 70 years old will overcome difficulties in life to live happily, continue to set good examples for the younger generation to follow, thereby contributing more to the process of building and developing the local economy and society.
