Lao Dong Newspaper reported that Thanh Khe District Police, Da Nang City, just caught a janitor of Kangzin Beauty Salon (175 Saigon Beauty Salon, address 368 Hung Vuong, Vinh Trung Ward, Thanh Khe District, Da Nang) performing a facelift on a customer.
According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Cong, Vice Chairman of Thanh Khe District People's Committee, this is an extremely reckless action, because when the incident is discovered, if the above janitor does not have a practice certificate, not only will that facility have its license revoked and be fined, but the individuals involved may also be imprisoned if the customer has health problems.
The scandals surrounding beauty salons are very old and common in the localities. New, perhaps, is the “unique” behavior like letting unqualified cleaning staff handle facelifts like in Da Nang.
Most recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Inspectorate reported that a 39-year-old woman suffered a medical accident (blurred vision) after receiving filler injections at an unlicensed facility and had to be treated at the Ophthalmology Department of Cho Ray Hospital.
Or after a month of filler injections to enhance her bust, a 31-year-old woman in Bac Giang experienced swelling and pain in both breasts, fever, and pain. Doctors discovered many pus-filled abscesses in the patient's chest, leading to breast abscesses...
If they do not/have not suffered a medical accident, many customers have to quit their jobs to report fraud and property appropriation like with Wonjin Beauty Salon (address 218 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Thac Gian ward, Thanh Khe district, Da Nang).
The same thing happened to many other Wonjin Beauty Salon facilities in many other localities across the country, but it is unknown when the money will be recovered because the facility has changed owners, changed names... as Lao Dong recently reported in a series of articles.
Alarmingly, Da Nang city currently has more than 500 cosmetic service establishments. And the authorities have only recently inspected Thanh Khe district - where there are nearly 150 establishments after the incidents related to Kangzin and Wonjin Cosmetic establishments - but have discovered that up to 119 establishments (accounting for 80%) have not declared that they are qualified to operate.
If we check the entire city of Da Nang and the whole country, how many cosmetic service establishments are still operating that do not meet the requirements?
Back to the "reckless act" as Mr. Nguyen Huu Cong, Vice Chairman of Thanh Khe District People's Committee (Da Nang) said about the case of the janitor getting a facelift.
The recklessness also comes from customers, those who are obsessed with the magic of beauty and risk their lives by trusting the advice of the staff of beauty service establishments - mostly via social networks such as Facebook, Zalo... - only to lose both money and health, sometimes their "cheeks" are swollen but they don't know when they will "get over it".
Women who love beauty, stay alert to protect yourself while waiting for the authorities to "clean up" and handle violating beauty service establishments!
