According to the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV), in November, coal production was estimated at 3.1 million tons, reaching 102.8% of the monthly plan; cumulative production for the first 11 months is estimated at 35.7 million tons, reaching 104.3% compared to the same period last year. Clean coal production was estimated at 3.23 million tons, reaching 101.2% of the monthly plan; cumulative production for the first 11 months is estimated at 35.3 million tons, reaching 101.7% compared to the same period last year. Coal consumption was estimated at 3.35 million tons, with cumulative consumption estimated at 39.84 million tons…

Electricity production, alumina, copper, zinc, industrial explosives production and consumption, mechanical manufacturing, and other production and business sectors remained stable in November. Alumina production is estimated at 113,000 tons, reaching 100% of the monthly plan, with a cumulative total of 1.3 million tons, equivalent to 100.8% of the annual plan and 102.8% compared to the same period last year.
Alumina consumption is estimated at 112.6 thousand tons, equivalent to 103.0% of the monthly plan, with a cumulative consumption of 1.3 million tons. Copper concentrate production is estimated at 4.5 thousand tons, equivalent to 112.5% of the monthly plan; cumulative production is estimated at 90.2 thousand tons, equivalent to 101.1% of the annual plan. Consumption is estimated at 2.5 thousand tons, equivalent to 100% of the monthly plan; cumulative consumption is estimated at 30.2 thousand tons, equivalent to 100.3% compared to the same period last year. Copper sheet production is estimated at 2.6 thousand tons, equivalent to 103.2% of the monthly plan; cumulative production for 11 months is estimated at 29 thousand tons, equivalent to 100.4% compared to the same period last year… Electricity production in November is estimated at 812 million kWh; cumulative production for 11 months is estimated at 9.1 billion kWh, equivalent to 105.9% compared to the same period last year.
As a result, the Group's consolidated revenue in November is estimated at VND 11,756 trillion; the cumulative revenue for the first 11 months is estimated at VND 146.75 trillion. The Group's contribution to the state budget in November is estimated at VND 1.6 trillion; the cumulative contribution for the first 11 months is estimated at VND 22.63 trillion.
The leaders of TKV Group anticipate that in December 2025, the regional and global economic and political situation will continue to be volatile and unpredictable, affecting global trade and domestic production sectors, as well as TKV's business operations. They predict that severe cold weather will begin to appear in the North, while the Central and Southern regions will continue to face heavy rains, late floods, and high tides causing widespread flooding.
Therefore, TKV is implementing its December 2025 production and business plan with several key targets such as: 2.69 million tons of coal mined; 3.33 million tons of clean coal produced; and a minimum consumption of 4.16 million tons of coal. The Group also produced 131,000 tons of alumina, with an expected consumption of 140,000 tons. Simultaneously, it will produce 1.07 billion kWh of electricity; 4,100 tons of explosives; and supply 6,850 tons of explosives. It will also produce 8,300 tons of ammonium nitrate and consume 13,300 tons... The Group's consolidated revenue for December 2025 is projected to reach 14.62 trillion VND.
To complete the December tasks amidst numerous intertwined challenges, the Group is directing and implementing solutions decisively and synchronously, continuing to maintain stable coal mining plans, proactively implementing measures to organize production to ensure safety and protect stored coal; strengthening inspection and control to ensure safety, environmental protection, and security and order to protect resources within mine boundaries; and expanding coal consumption markets both domestically and for export to strive to achieve the highest possible coal consumption target for 2025.
Mineral production and consumption will continue to maintain stable production at mining sites and manufacturing plants. Simultaneously, strict management of technical and technological indicators will be strengthened, and information technology applications and digital transformation will be implemented. From there, efforts will be made to achieve the highest possible level of production and business plan targets, ensuring the goals set in the 2025 growth plan are met; and guaranteeing jobs and income for workers.
