Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Shanghai Youth Union signed cooperation agreements on many activities.

The Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Shanghai Youth Union (China) recently held talks during the visit and work of the Shanghai Youth Union led by Mr. Ngo Ban - Deputy Secretary of the Chinese Communist Youth Union of Shanghai City, Chairman of the Shanghai Youth Federation.

Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai discussed some contents and invited Shanghai Youth Union to participate in activities, including the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Festival 2025.

And the Shanghai City Youth Union also invited the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union to participate in some international activities. On this occasion, representatives of both sides signed a supplement to the memorandum of understanding between the two units that had been implemented since 2001.

In which, the agreement and decision to supplement the memorandum of understanding between the two sides with the following contents: youth exchanges in important events, holidays, Tet; exchanges and interactions between youth of the two sides regularly through online and direct forms such as conferences, theoretical seminars, research cooperation and international exchanges focusing on the fields of politics , economics, culture, science, volunteering, sports, international exchanges...

Every year, the two sides will send delegations to visit and exchange experiences in Youth Union work. The Shanghai Youth Union School organizes and implements the "Shanghai - Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cadre Training and Exchange Camp" in Shanghai.

Within the framework of the visit and work in Ho Chi Minh City, the delegation of Shanghai City Youth Union learned about Ho Chi Minh City Youth Startup Space, Uncle Ho Space with Children and worked with the City Children's House, City Youth Cultural House.

The delegation also visited Bach Dang wharf and learned about the river bus, Ho Chi Minh Museum branch in Ho Chi Minh City, the historical relic of Sac Forest resistance base, the Chinese revolutionary tradition house in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Tay market, Tue Thanh Assembly Hall, and visited the Coconut Honey Youth Startup Facility in Can Gio district.
