At around 3:25 a.m. on July 11, people reported to the 114 Command Information Center, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police about a traffic accident between a passenger car and a truck on the North-South Expressway at Km 340+900, in Trung Chinh Commune, Thanh Hoa Province, which injured a truck driver and left him trapped in the cockpit.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department directed the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 to mobilize a rescue vehicle and officers and soldiers to urgently approach the scene and carry out the rescue.

The traffic accident between a passenger bus with license plate 24H-019.xx and a truck with license plate 49H-001.xx caused the front of the truck to be deformed, and the truck driver was trapped in the cabin.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force had to use cutting equipment to free the victim from the trapped position and take him to Thanh Hoa Provincial General Hospital for emergency treatment.
