Establishment of Steering Committee on implementing measures to prevent and combat waste in Quang Nam province

The Steering Committee is headed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee in charge of various fields as deputy heads, and leaders of departments, branches, and localities as members.

The Steering Committee has the function and task of directing and managing the review, development, promulgation and effective implementation of the Plan for implementing measures to prevent and combat waste in the province in 2025 and the following years according to each sector and field of the province.

Focus on reviewing and developing plans to implement waste prevention and control contents related to public investment projects; non-state budget investment projects; management and use of public assets; land management and use in economic zones, industrial parks and clusters, urban areas, tourist areas, etc.

Accordingly, we are determined to make waste prevention and control a regular and continuous task with the goal of removing bottlenecks and bottlenecks to promote social investment resources from land, resources, and non-budgetary investment capital, while at the same time economically and effectively using public investment capital and state budget expenditures.

The Steering Committee develops internal rules, regulations, and operating procedures to ensure that waste prevention and control work is carried out in accordance with procedures and must not be delayed, affecting the progress of work.

Steering Committee members are responsible for assigning cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers under their management authority to assist Steering Committee members to ensure consistency, timeliness, and effectiveness.
