Establishment of Lac Dia Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative

BDK.VN - On June 20, 2025, at Phu Le Wine Joint Stock Company (Phu Le commune, Ba Tri district), a conference was held to establish Lac Dia Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative. Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association - Chairman of the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Le Wine Joint Stock Company Tran Anh Thuy and 54 members of the Cooperative attended.

Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative Lac Dia was established under the Law on Cooperatives 2023, with 100% consensus from 5 founding members; with a registered charter capital of 1.7 billion VND. Among them, there are typical enterprises in the province participating such as: Phu Le Wine Joint Stock Company, VinaEcolife Tourism andEducation Investment Joint Stock Company (Phu Le commune, Ba Tri district) and Tao Ngo Food and Beverage Joint Stock Company (An Hoi ward, Ben Tre city). The cooperative has 54 members contributing capital for production and business with a total contributed capital of 270 million VND (equivalent to 5 million VND/member).

At the conference, Sustainable Development Expert - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EarthWise Joint Stock Company Ton That Hac Minh shared about raising awareness of sustainable living with the theme "Seeds of trust and consensus"; reported the results of propaganda and mobilization to establish cooperatives, the number of members registered and contributed capital. Approved the charter with 7 chapters and 20 articles; production and business plan and regulations. Accordingly, 100% of members of the cooperative voted and agreed on the draft charter, production and business plan and regulations.

Through the election, the Board of Directors unanimously decided to have 3 members and elected Ms. Le Thanh Truc as Chairwoman; Ms. Le Thi Cam Tu as Head of the Supervisory Board. The conference passed the Resolution to establish Lac Dia Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative for the first term (2025 - 2030).

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Nguyen Thanh Phuong said that the establishment of Lac Dia Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative really comes from the practical needs of businesses and local people. Cooperatives represent new thinking and specific directions in implementing the enhancement of the value of key agricultural products in the locality.

“In the future, the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board of the Cooperative need to speed up the completion of documents and procedures in registering for the Certificate of Operation. The Cooperative will soon operate and come into operation with practical efficiency with 3 solid pillars such as: Mobilizing capital; organizing, managing and operating with true enthusiasm and responsibility for the common interest; implementing specific solutions from the plan built in the linkage platform to bring benefits to members and success to the community”, emphasized Chairman of the Provincial Cooperative Union Nguyen Thanh Phuong.
