The Government Inspectorate draws lots to select 56 people with positions to verify assets.

(Dan Tri) - From 533 people with positions and powers in 5 ministries and 3 agencies, the Government Inspectorate randomly selected 56 people to verify their assets and income.


On December 19, the Government Inspectorate organized a random draw to select cases whose assets and income will be verified according to regulations.

Out of a total of 533 people holding positions and powers in 5 ministries and 3 agencies, the Government Inspectorate has randomly selected 56 individuals to verify their assets and income in the coming time.

According to the announcement of the Government Inspectorate, there are 3 individuals working at Vietnam Television (VTV), one person working at Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), 12 people from the Ministry of Health, 10 people from the Ministry of Justice , 10 people from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 5 people from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, 14 people from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and one officer from the Bank for Social Policies.

Deputy Inspector General of the Government Bui Ngoc Lam requested the above agencies to closely coordinate with the inspectorate in reviewing the entire list of individuals drawn for income and asset verification in 2024.

Mr. Lam emphasized that this is the third time the Government Inspectorate has randomly drawn individuals to verify their assets and income.

According to Mr. Lam, the Government Inspectorate's approach is increasingly demonstrating objectivity, democracy, and thoroughness. However, this agency hopes to have a new approach, supported by technology, to become more objective and thorough.

The Deputy Inspector General of the Government requested the Department of Anti-Corruption and Negativity (Department IV, organizing committee) to coordinate with the agencies to review and establish a specific list that has been drawn to sign the minutes. In which, the names and specific addresses of each person must be reviewed so that the verification decision can be issued fully and accurately.

Mr. Lam requested representatives of agencies participating in the drawing to report to the Ministry's leaders and all cases subject to asset and income verification to have the best preparation.
