Changing the rural landscape in the Da River Reservoir Commune

After a period of trying and making efforts, Quy Huong commune, Moc Chau district has achieved 11/19 new rural criteria. People's lives have improved significantly, production methods have changed positively, and people's awareness of building new rural areas has been clearly raised.

Suoi Giang 1 village is one of three villages that have met the new rural standards of Quy Huong commune. Households here are conscious of repairing and refurbishing their houses, paying attention to environmental sanitation. In particular, the roads within the village are planted with flowers and trees. Many families have cleared the land, contributed money, labor, donated land, trees and crops to build internal roads within the village and commune; built electric lighting and other works. The appearance of the village is increasingly spacious and clean.

Ms. Dinh Thi Hoa - Head of the Front Committee of Suoi Giang 1 village, Quy Huong commune, Moc Chau, Son La : The Party Committee, Party cell as well as the Village Management Board have propagated and mobilized people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws. Especially for the new rural villages, we have mobilized people to participate in building roads, building cultural houses, and installing lighting lines. Mobilize people every month and every quarter to organize departments and unions to go to the alleys to promote environmental sanitation.

Quy Huong Commune is mainly resettled by Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant, most of whom live scattered along the lake, along the banks of Suoi Giang and Highway 43. At the same time, it has well implemented the criteria on Political system and access to law; Culture; Information and communication; Irrigation and natural disaster prevention; Electricity; Education and training; Rural commercial infrastructure, National defense and security; Health; Labor... These results are thanks to the commune clearly identifying the role and importance of new rural construction and including it in the Commune Party Resolution to focus on leading implementation.
