Netflix's 'The Last Airbender' Makes a splash

Netflix has released the first trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender , confirming the series will premiere in 2024, sharing looks at Gordon Cormier (as Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka), and Dallas Liu (Zuko).

The trailer also features new images from the Avatar: The Last Airbender series. Supporting cast members include Daniel Dae Kim (as Fire Lord Ozai) and Paul Lee Sun-hyung (General Iroh).

Netflix's Avatar: The Last Airbender is executive produced by showrunner Albert Kim along with Michael Goi, Dan Lin and Lindsey Liberatore. Directors include Goi, Roseanne Liang, Jabbar Raisani and Jet Wilkinson.

The project is not affiliated with Nickelodeon's Avatar Studios due to the departure of original Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko from the Netflix adaptation.
