This morning, February 13th (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), the Gio Linh District Cultural and Information Center - Sports and Physical Education Center organized a table tennis, chess, and calligraphy competition to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.

The table tennis and chess tournament attracted 70 athletes from 17 communes, towns, and agencies/units in Gio Linh district. This is an annual tournament aimed at creating a healthy and beneficial playground for athletes and sports enthusiasts to meet, interact, exchange experiences, and compete.
At the same time, the aim is to discover and select young talents and new potential candidates to recruit and train as a core force for the local sports movement to participate in provincial-level sports competitions in the future.
