High School Graduation Exam 2025: Many activities to support ethnic minority candidates

On June 24, speaking with Thanh Nien , Mr. Le Ba Cuong, Deputy Director of the Dak Nong Department of Education and Training, said that the unit has prepared well the procedures, creating favorable conditions for students to enter the high school graduation exam in 2025.

Mr. Cuong said that the whole province organized an examination council with 23 examination sites, mobilizing more than 1,600 personnel to perform the task. Of these, more than 2,000 candidates were ethnic minorities, many of whom were disadvantaged, studying at ethnic boarding schools. The exam took place in the context of the first year of applying the 2018 GeneralEducation Program for 12th graders.

The Department of Education and Training has directed high schools and boarding schools for ethnic minorities to pay special attention to candidates who are children of ethnic minorities, remote areas, and families with difficult circumstances. Localities have mobilized social resources to support food, accommodation, and transportation for these students. Youth volunteer teams have been mobilized to participate in "Supporting the exam season" to provide maximum support for candidates taking the exam.

Notably, the Department of Education and Training has collected information from schools with 12th grade students taking the exam and the exam locations. Currently, localities have joined forces with volunteer teams to carry out the following activities: organizing meetings and giving gifts to candidates; parents of students in some localities have organized cooking for candidates taking the exam far from exam locations; some restaurants (Dak Glong District) have organized sending lunch, milk and drinks to candidates.

The Department of Education and Training has completed preparations for facilities, printing of exam papers, transportation, security, and plans to ensure security and safety for the exam. Training on exam regulations and exam inspection techniques has been focused on sending training staff to the ministry level and retraining locally online.

Departments, sectors, police, health , electricity... all issued their own plans to ensure conditions for traffic, health, electricity, fire prevention and fighting and response to unusual situations. The scoring of multiple-choice tests was also carefully prepared with technical teams and equipment systems that had been tested and operated.

"According to the assessment, all preparation stages were carried out seriously and thoroughly, ensuring compliance with regulations, creating the most favorable conditions for candidates. The locality aims to organize the exam safely, seriously, honestly and objectively," Mr. Cuong informed.
