High School Graduation Exam 2025: Candidates go home in the rain, sad because of difficult math questions

This afternoon, candidates finished the math exam for the 2025 high school graduation exam in pouring rain in Ho Chi Minh City. Many candidates walked out with sad faces and wet faces to find their parents because the math exam was considered difficult.

Just as it was pouring rain, candidates left the math exam room for the 2025 high school graduation exam. At the exam site of Nguyen Du High School (District 10, Ho Chi Minh City), it was rare to see a candidate with a smile as bright as this morning when the literature exam ended.

Duong Thi An, a student at Suong Nguyet Anh High School, said: "I was as happy after finishing literature this morning as I was sad this afternoon. The math test was very difficult. I can learn math in class, but I don't know if I can get a 6 on this test."

Ngoc Mai, a student at Nguyen Du High School, stood waiting for the rain to stop while chatting with her friends, smiling sadly and saying: "I couldn't do it all, only about 70% but I don't know if it's right or wrong. I'll probably only get 5-6 points."

For Do Van Tung, a student at Nguyen An Ninh High School, the hardest part was choosing true or false in part 2. "I didn't have enough time to do it, so I chose randomly. I also didn't do all of question 6 in part III. I probably got a low score in math," Tung shared.

Although Thanh Vy (Nguyen Du High School) also did not do well in the math exam, Vy optimistically said: "So after finishing the two exams, I feel somewhat relieved. If it is difficult, it is difficult for everyone, so I do not think too much, just focus on doing well in the English exam tomorrow."
