Opening the trading session on August 28, the market was green but then turned around from the 1,285 point area and quickly retreated to the red price area due to the negative developments of real estate stocks.

By the afternoon session, the market gradually recovered. At the end of the session, VN-Index closed at 1,281 points. Liquidity increased with 658.2 million shares matched on the HOSE floor.

The VN30-Index basket of large-cap stocks increased by 1.26 points, closing at 1,323 points. In the group, 13 stocks increased in price such as GVR (+2%), SSI (+1.9%), POW (+1.5%)... On the contrary, 13 stocks closed in red such as VRE (-2.7%), VIC (-1.6%), VHM (-1.2%)...

Foreign investors continued to net sell on the HOSE with a value of 112.5 billion VND. Of which, they strongly sold HPG shares (-186.9 billion VND), HSG (-73.7 billion VND), VHM (-52.4 billion VND... On the contrary, this group bought many shares of FPT (+139 billion VND), VNM (+65.7 billion VND), SSI (+48.6 billion VND)...

Rong Viet Securities Joint Stock Company said that with the support level raised compared to the previous session, the market is likely to continue to receive support from cash flow and have the opportunity to expand the uptrend in the coming time.

"Investors can consider short-term adjustments to buy stocks with positive developments from the support level. However, it is necessary to limit buying after high prices and consider good price areas to close short-term profits" - Rong Viet recommends.

According to Beta Securities Joint Stock Company, with only two sessions left until the September 2 holiday, corrections may continue, especially when the market's pillars gradually show weakness and selling pressure increases sharply.

To protect assets, investors should not rush into the market if there are no clear signs. Consider keeping a high cash ratio to take advantage of opportunities during corrections during this period.
