The new soldier oath-taking ceremony is not only a milestone of maturity in the military but also the most sacred moment I have ever experienced - a place where pride, emotion and nostalgia blend into a surge of emotions.

I remember the first day I joined the army, as a young man leaving school, bewildered by the regulations, bewildered in the space of strict discipline. There were nights when I lay on the bunk bed, listening to the wind blowing through the iron door, I secretly missed the meals my mother cooked, my father's voice, my friends' smiles... But it was from that nostalgia that I learned to grow up, slowly but steadily every day.

Three months of training was not long, but it was enough for me to overcome my limits. From the tiring runs under the scorching sun to the challenging shooting and grenade throwing sessions. Every day was an effort, every hour was a determination. When I finished the training with excellent results in all the contents of politics , regulations, shooting, grenade throwing, explosives... I was emotional not because I was better than anyone else, but because I had conquered myself.

On that journey, I was not alone. The officers from the squad to the company were always dedicated to accompanying and guiding my every move with serious and caring eyes. Although my teammates had only known me for three months, they were like blood brothers, sharing joys and sorrows, overcoming nights of mild fever or fatigue after each training session. And the words of encouragement from my family became a precious motivation, warming me in my weak moments.

Today’s oath-taking day not only closes the training period but also opens a new journey. A journey of ideals, responsibility and pride named Uncle Ho’s soldiers. Today’s achievement is the crystallization of the efforts, affection and encouragement of my family, my officers and my comrades - those who have accompanied me through the first journey of my military career.

When the oath was taken in the middle of the flag-raising yard, I felt empowered. Although there are still difficulties and challenges ahead, I believe that with the fortitude I have developed over time, I will firmly overcome them and continue my arduous but also glorious military journey.
