Authorities overcome the consequences of floods

Currently, the provincial authorities are still on duty 24/7, closely monitoring weather developments and proactively providing timely information and warnings to the government and people to minimize possible damage.

At the same time, the relevant agencies continue to urge and guide localities to effectively implement measures to prevent and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters. Shock forces are deployed to inspect and review residential areas along rivers and streams, low-lying areas, areas at risk of flooding and landslides to proactively respond and minimize damage.

Localities have prepared plans to evacuate people from dangerous areas; maintain warning signs and traffic diversion at flooded and landslide areas. Many roads have been temporarily closed to people and vehicles passing through potentially unsafe locations. Local forces have also been mobilized to level rocks and soil, and clear fallen trees to ensure smooth traffic.

The whole province is continuing to review, compile statistics and update the damage caused by natural disasters, and at the same time deploy support for people to overcome the consequences according to regulations. At the same time, specialized agencies closely monitor and direct owners of irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs to operate the reservoirs according to approved procedures, ensuring the safety of the works and limiting flooding in downstream areas.
