
In Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat, an 8-year-old girl was injured by a landslide and was promptly taken to the emergency room by rescuers.
In Lac Duong commune, a man was swept away by floodwaters while trying to protect his sturgeon farm. Local authorities are currently mobilizing and increasing forces to continue implementing plans to search for the victim's whereabouts.
Tan Ha Lam Ha Commune, at around 5pm on November 18, Mr. Nguyen Phu Quyet (Lien Ho village) attended a wedding party. Afterwards, at around 7:30pm, Mr. Quyet went to his friend's house to have a drink. At around 9pm, Mr. Quyet left and has been missing to this day.
Regarding property damage, more than 138 households in many communes and wards such as Duc Trong, Xuan Truong - Da Lat, D'Ran, Ka Do, Quang Lap, Don Duong, Hiep Thanh, Ta Nang, Nam Da... were severely affected. Notably, in D'Ran commune, floods from upstream combined with regulated water from Don Duong hydroelectric reservoir caused deep flooding and strong currents, forcing the locality to urgently evacuate many households along the river. Some areas are still isolated, and the locality is coordinating with military forces to continue to evacuate people from dangerous areas. According to preliminary statistics, floods from November 17 until now have affected and severely damaged about 1,162 hectares of crops, mainly flowers, in the above local commune.

Regarding infrastructure, traffic, urban areas, landslides, and property, up to this point, the whole province has more than 31 landslide points and a number of roads have been flooded, cut off, and affected traffic, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Xuan Truong ward - Da Lat; Lac Duong commune; D'Ran commune; Hiep Thanh; Ka Do; Ta Nang; Tan Ha Lam Ha; Quang Son; Quang Hoa; Cam Ly - Da Lat.

Currently, the provincial authorities are still on duty 24/7, closely monitoring weather developments and proactively providing timely information and warnings to the government and people to minimize possible damage.
At the same time, the relevant agencies continue to urge and guide localities to effectively implement measures to prevent and overcome the consequences caused by natural disasters. Shock forces are deployed to inspect and review residential areas along rivers and streams, low-lying areas, areas at risk of flooding and landslides to proactively respond and minimize damage.
Localities have prepared plans to evacuate people from dangerous areas; maintain warning signs and traffic diversion at flooded and landslide areas. Many roads have been temporarily closed to people and vehicles passing through potentially unsafe locations. Local forces have also been mobilized to level rocks and soil, and clear fallen trees to ensure smooth traffic.
The whole province is continuing to review, compile statistics and update the damage caused by natural disasters, and at the same time deploy support for people to overcome the consequences according to regulations. At the same time, specialized agencies closely monitor and direct owners of irrigation and hydroelectric reservoirs to operate the reservoirs according to approved procedures, ensuring the safety of the works and limiting flooding in downstream areas.
